Project Title: Accessible Post-Surgical Care: An AI-Driven Content Redevelopment

The Challenge
As part of a grant project, text-heavy resources for hip-fracture caregivers needed to be more accessible and engaging. The content was dense, and stakeholders needed a rapid way to humanize the instruction.
The Solution
I transformed seven manual-based lessons into audiovisual experiences using AI-generated avatars. By scripting and animating these avatars in Synthesia, I provided a “human” guide for caregivers, hosted within a streamlined Reach 360 LMS environment.
The Process
Phase 1: Content Transformation
I assessed the existing medical documents and extracted the “critical care” instructions to create voice scripts optimized for AI synthesis.

Phase 2: Avatar & Script Engineering
I designed animated slides and programmed the AI avatar’s tone and pacing to ensure it met the empathy requirements of the health sector.

Phase 3: LMS Deployment
I integrated the final Storyline packages into Reach 360, ensuring the audiovisual elements functioned without lag.

Reflection: This project showcased how AI can scale production while actually increasing the “humanity” of the learner experience through consistent, accessible guides.
Future Iteration: I plan to integrate AI-powered feedback agents to provide students with real-time coaching on their rhetorical mastery before they submit final drafts.
